📌 Overview

MindDuel is a unique 1v1 psychological PvP map developed by the Axion Team. It breaks the mold of traditional rock-paper-scissors by adding deception, strategy, and a full Elo-based ranking system, offering players a mental battle wrapped in pixelated intensity.

🎮 Gameplay

Each round, players secretly choose Rock, Paper, or Scissors, then lock in their choice with [SET]. Once both players are ready, they [OPEN] to reveal and determine the winner.

But this is more than luck:

• Bluffing is allowed — but getting caught brings punishment;

• Every match affects your rank, climbing through tiers as you win;

• You can also use powerful skills like OPEN and REVOLUTION to change the tide of battle;

• If you use OPEN to expose a bluff, the liar must complete a punishment minigame before the match continues.

👑 Ranking System

MindDuel includes a complete Elo-style ranking structure:

• Beginner

• Iron / Gold

• Diamond I–III

• Master

Your performance adjusts your rank dynamically. Win against stronger players? Rank up faster. Lose too much? Expect demotion. It's competitive and fair.

🧩 Skills

MindDuel features two core skills:

• OPEN – Reveal both players' choices and detect lies; lying triggers a punishment minigame;

• REVOLUTION – Reverse the win/loss logic (e.g., Rock loses to Scissors).

Timing is everything. Using these skills at the right moment can change the outcome of the match.

💻 Technical Achievement

To power these systems, the Axion Team wrote thousands of lines of vanilla Minecraft commands and functions, including:

• Multiplayer state management

• Skill logic with cooldowns

• Dynamic ranking calculation

• In-game UI with actionbar prompts

• Anti-cheat and edge-case handling
